History and records
The history opens with the “Club history” button on the club page. Every club has one, including the clubs the game runs.
Seasons
A table of all the club’s finished seasons:
| Column | What is in it |
|---|---|
| Season | The time of year and the year, e.g. “Autumn 2026” |
| League | The league and the division the club played in |
| Place | The final place in the table |
| Outcome | Promoted, Relegated or Stayed |
If the club had another name back then, the season says “as ‘…’”: a rename does not rewrite the past.
A season goes into the history once it is over and the next one has started. A season without matches played leaves no record.
Trophy shelf
League titles: “Champions: league name”. For now trophies are league titles, as the championship is all that is played.
Managers
Who ran the club and when. If there have been no managers, it says “The game has always run this club”.
Records
Seven club records:
| Record | What counts |
|---|---|
| Biggest win | The win with the widest goal margin |
| Biggest defeat | The defeat with the widest goal margin |
| Longest winning run | Wins in a row |
| Longest unbeaten run | Matches in a row without a defeat |
| Top scorer in a season | The most goals by one player in a season |
| All-time top scorer | The most goals by one player for the club overall |
| Most points in a season | The best season by points |
Match records show the opponent, the score and the date, scorer records the player and the season.
How to break a record
- A record has to be beaten: equalling it does not count, the first one stands.
- For the biggest win the margin comes first, and between equal margins the one with more goals: 6:1 beats 5:0.
- Records belong to the club, not the manager: they survive a new manager and a new name.
- The opponent in a record is named as it was called back then.
- Records are updated right after each round. A run or a season’s points can become a record before the season is over.
Records in the feed
A broken record becomes news in the club feed:
- only for a club with a manager;
- only once the club has a finished season behind it;
- a record that keeps growing, such as a winning run, is news once, when it passes the old mark. The next matches of the run only add to it.
