The game

Do I have to come by before every round?

No. A saved lineup plays every match until you change it. And if you cannot come by for a few days, turn on auto lineup “When I am away”.

When are the rounds played?

On Wednesdays and Saturdays at 20:00 UTC. See Game calendar.

What happens if I have never saved a lineup?

The club plays a side the game picks itself, a 4-4-2 of the strongest players. That is not bad, but your own lineup is usually better: see Tactics.

Can a match be replayed?

No. A played match is final.

The stronger team lost. Why?

Strength decides how many goals a team should score, and the actual score has a share of chance in it, as real football does. The stronger side wins more often, but not always. See How a match is played.

Do prestige or the manager’s level affect matches?

No. A match depends on the players, their positions, form and stamina, both teams’ formations and home advantage.

Squad and tactics

Why does the lineup not save?

• Not all 11 positions are filled.
• Your league’s round is being played right now: wait until it is over.
• Auto lineup is set to “Always” in Automation: the game picks the side.

Why is a player outlined in yellow?

They are in a position of another line and play weaker: by 25%, and an outfield player in goal by 60%. See Tactics.

Why is there a player in the lineup I did not pick?

The saved lineup no longer works, for example a player has retired. Then the game picks the side itself in your formation. Open Tactics, fix the lineup and save it.

How do I get new players?

For now only with age: in place of each player who retires, the club gets a young player for the same position. Transfers and training are planned.

The club

How do I rename the club?

Club settings → Identity. The name can be changed once a season.

Can I change my club’s country?

No. The country and the year of founding are the club’s history.

Why are the guests in a different kit?

Their shirt is too close to the hosts’ shirt, so the game put them in their away or reserve kit. See What kit a match is played in.

Why is the club feed empty?

News appears once the club has at least one finished season behind it. See Records in the feed.

What does “This club is run by the game” mean?

The club has no manager: the game picks its lineup and appointments. Most clubs are like that. A new manager takes over one of them in the lowest division of their country.

I forgot my password. What now?

Click “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page. See Sign up and sign in.

How do I change the language?

With the language switch in the site header or in Settings → Interface → Language. The sign-in page has the switch too.
