Automation

Rounds are played on schedule, whether you are there or not. On the Automation tab of the club settings you set the rules once, and the club keeps to them.

Auto lineup

Mode	What happens
Off	Your saved lineup plays, however long you are gone. The game picks a side only if there is none or it no longer works, for example when a player has retired
When I am away	If you have not come by for the set number of days, the game starts picking the side by the rules below. As soon as you are back, your lineup plays again
Always	The game picks the side before every match. Your saved lineup stays, but does not play while auto lineup is on

Auto lineup is off by default.

Days without you: from 1 to 30, 3 by default. Any action on the site while you are signed in counts as coming by.

In every mode the game keeps your formation: it picks the players, not the tactics. If you have never saved a lineup, the game plays a 4-4-2.

What the Tactics screen shows

With “Always” on, the Tactics page shows the side the game will pick, and you cannot save your own: the changes would not affect matches anyway.

Rules for auto lineup

These rules only apply while the game is picking the side.

Whom to start

• Keep the best side: the strongest side.
• The freshest by condition: a player in better form and with more stamina edges out a stronger but worn-out one. The game still takes the position into account, so nobody ends up in goal just for being rested.

Form and stamina only change between seasons for now, so this is a choice for the season rather than rotation between rounds.

Young players in the starting 11

From 0 to 5. Young means 21 or younger. The game puts them where the swap weakens the side the least. If the club has fewer, all of them start.

Coming later

You can already turn these on and your choice is kept, but they take effect once matches have substitutions and the game has a transfer market:

• bring on fresh players when tired;
• mend the side after a red card;
• let the autopilot make transfers.
